On April 25, a “Disaster Preparedness Seminar” was held for international students with the cooperation of NHK WORLD-JAPAN at Sakigake-Hokumei Exchange Hall.
First, Yuko Aotani, a freelance announcer, gave a seminar on disaster prevention in English with videos and quizzes. 39 international students participated in the seminar. Participants enjoyed learning about disaster prevention through seminars, the demonstration of portable toilet, and the earthquake experience using VR goggles. Following this, the Evacuation Drill was held for the residents of the international student dormitories “Sakigake” and “Hokumei”, in which 86 people including Japanese students participated in a simulated fire drill.
After the Drill, participants enjoyed Karaoke and Beer Pong at the Welcome Party.

4月25日，NHK国際放送局のご協力のもと，先魁・北溟交流ホールにて留学生を対象とした「防災セミナー」を開催しました。
はじめに，フリーアナウンサーの青谷優子さんから，動画やクイズを交えながら防災についての英語によるセミナーがあり，39名の留学生が参加しました。参加者らは，セミナー，携帯トイレのデモンストレーション，VRゴーグルでの地震体験などをとおして，楽しく防災について学びました。引き続き，学生留学生宿舎「先魁」「北溟」入居者を対象に，火災を想定した避難訓練を行い，日本人学生を含む86名が参加しました。
避難訓練後は，ウェルカムパーティーを催し，参加者らはカラオケやビアポンで盛り上がりました。
