On July 19, KISSA hosted a Nagashi Somen event with international students at Kakuma no Sato. KISSA is a club that provides a forum for exchange between Japanese and international students at Kanazawa University. This event begins on a separate day with cutting bamboo from the hills behind the Kakuma no Sato. On another day, the rough edges of the bamboo are smoothed out, and on the day of the event, the bamboo is assembled to finaly complete the waterway for Nagashi Somen. About 50 students participated and enjoyed eating somen noodles using the waterway they had worked so hard to create while deepening their friendships.

7月19日，KISSA主催（ダーバーシティ推進機構共催）で留学生との流しそうめんイベントを角間の里にて開催しました。KISSAは金沢大学の日本人学生と留学生との交流の場を提供しているサークルです。このイベントはまず、別日に裏山から竹を切ってくるとことからスタートします。そして、さらに別日に取って来た竹のささくれを磨き上げた後、当日、竹を組んでようやく流しそうめん用の水路が完成します。当日は約50名の学生が参加し、みんなで苦労して作った水路を使って、そうめんを楽しみながら、交流を深めました。
