On January 21, Verboven Dido (Belgium) and Garaeva Farida (Russia), international students at Kanazawa university, have been appointed as Kanazawa International Exchange Ambassadors to promote the city’s appeal overseas.

Both were recognized for their active participation in the “International Exchange Ambassador Training Program,” where they deepened their affection for and knowledge of Kanazawa through cultural experience workshops and exchange activities with citizens. On the same day, they received their letters of appointment from Mayor Taku Murayama at Kanazawa City Hall.

1月21日、金沢市の魅力を海外に伝える金沢市国際交流特使に、本学の留学生ディド・ヴェルボーヴンさん（ベルギー出身）とファリダ・ガラエワさん（ロシア出身）が任命されました。

2人は、文化体験講座や市民との交流事業を通じて、金沢に対する愛着・知識を深める「国際交流特使養成塾」に積極的に参加していたことが認められ、同日、金沢市役所にて村山卓市長から任命状を授与されました。
